Though I am a Republican and have conservative values, I still strive to earn your vote by showing you who I am and what political value I will bring YOU
Raised by a public school teacher, I grew up with strong Democratic values and was a member of the Democratic Party until the age of 19. As a child, I participated in mock school elections voting Democrat, regularly watched CNN and MSNBC, and held harsh views about Republican politicians. Over time, my perspective evolved, and I embraced Conservative Republican principles. While my beliefs have shifted, my family’s haven’t—they remain proud Democrats. My mother, twin sister, and my mother’s friends, whom I consider family, all continue to support the Democratic Party.
With my background as both a former Democrat and now a staunch Republican, I bring the experience needed to build coalitions, find common ground, and unite people to create meaningful solutions for the 9th Congressional District of Illinois.

An example of my dedication to serving my constituents, regardless of partisan politics, was my constituent services internship (non-political) at Senator Duckworth’s Chicago office. Despite holding differing views on many policy issues from my fellow interns, supervisors, and even the Senator herself, I valued the opportunity to engage with Chicagoland residents and work alongside committed public servants. I was genuinely inspired by the selflessness and dedication of my colleagues, who were united by a shared commitment to serve those in need.
