Though I am a Republican and have conservative values, I still strive to earn your vote by showing you who I am and what political value I will bring YOU
The son of a pubic school teacher, I was raised to adhere to Liberal Democrat principles and was a member of the Democrat party until I was 19 years old. I voted Democrat in fake school presidential elections, watched CNN and MSNBC as a child, and believed the most vile things about Republican politicians. Though I have personally evolved and have become a Conservative Republican, my family has not, and my mother, twin sister, and my mother’s friends who I consider my family are all still strong Democrat Party supporters.
From my time as a Democrat, and now a Republican, I have the experience to build coalitions, find solutions, and bring people together to better the 9th Congressional District of Illinois

An example of my zeal to serve my constituents regardless of partisan politics is my time interning at Senator Duckworth’s Chicago office. Though I disagreed with a vast majority of policy issues with my fellow interns, direct superiors, and the Senator herself, I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the opportunity to engage with my Chicagoland constituents and my co-workers. Everyone I worked with were selfless public servants, and I was truly inspired by their commitment to serving those who needed them the most.
